My husband, son, and I have lived in Reflections by the Lake for almost a year and a half now. We are going to be moving out in two weeks because we are leaving the state.
My experiences at this apartment complex have been both bad and good.
I'll start with the bad. The walls are pretty thin. You can hear everything from your neighbor's child crying, to the flushing of their toilet or when they take a shower. There do seem to be a lot of people running in and out of apartments and you wonder if they even live there. They are doing a lot of construction behind the apartment so it is noisy between the hours of 6am to about 5 pm week days. The apartments are close to a fire station so you get to hear fire trucks and cop cars rushing by with sirens going a lot. We have neighbors that smoke so you can smell cigarett smoke very well in our bathrooms, closets, pantry, and washer and dryer area. And during the summer when you have to open the windows, my whole apartment smells like cigarett smoke. You would think I smoke when you walk into my apartment. Parking is horrible unless you pay for a covered spot. Our window leak when it rains (which is all the time here). And because of the rain their is now mold all along the walls around the windows.
Now for the good. We looked all over this area for apartments in the same price range and none of them were as big as this one. These apartments are great when it comes to the size of them. We have had no problems with the staff for the most part. I have heard some complaints from my neighbors about them but we personally have never had a problem. Same with the maintenance. Our dish washer was leaking and we reported it and within a couple of days we got a new one. We had trouble with our closet doors and they came in a fixed that in good time too. Over all we didn't mind living here. You get what you pay for.
