Unless you atually serve legal paperwork to get a major repair job done-all you get is an excuse that the owner is not going to like it!
After any repair is finished-you can expect the owner to raise your rent as many as 5 times to pay for the repairs!
Rivers Landing is located next to the Denney Juvinal Justice Center-A correctional facility for youth in street gangs-which our area is well known for,and section 8 housing surrounds us-the folks that are allowed to live there are better then what the new owner moves in here.We been here for 4 years now and have faulty appliances-heaters,mold problems,and drug dealers all around us.We complained about second hand cigarette smoke comming through the walls and they said-if you dont like it-move away. After a water heater busted next door they had to replace the insulation in the wall.So they added new stuff on our side and removed it-what they just added on the other side! They thought we would not notice-I think they dont even get work inspected-they just do it with no building permits! Thats aginst the laws in my city because I checked.
Since my income is just above minimum wages we cant afford to move no where else.
In a year the new owners from William Investments have moved a sex offender in and many drug dealers-after the police put the sex offenders picture up they kicked him
out. The property has trash all over it-cigarette butts are everywhere.
I dont think that they care at all what it looks like.And in 4 years they have fixed only 1 washin machine-! Now they say they gonig to put them in ecah unit but we have to pay and extra $165.00 a month if we want one! Luxury apartmentsd in Everett are cheaper than that.
This apartment is owned by a slumlord.And its not safe to live here-so dont move in!
There is mold commiing through our walls and second hand drug smoke and tobacco-so strong the lady from the health dept says its unsafe!

My wife and I moved in here about two months ago. True it is a dive, however its ten times better then apartments in Seattle so maybe thats why we don't mind it so much (we lived up in Beacon Hill, between real gang bangers, cockroaches, and random shootings this place seems almost peaceful)

i've lived in everett for 20 some odd years...it these apartments are as bad as you say they are then why the ---- are you still there....hahahaha!!!! everett gang members....do they really have any that are real here prolly not...your right anonymous beacon hill is way worse...these apartments are mansions compared to there or hilltop....

I used to live at Candlewood. Candlewood's "A" building is INFESTED with gang members coming over from the complex next door, to the east. In fact, the whole Casino Road area is a hotbed of gang activity! I wouldn't live there again even if the apartment was FREE!
