So far so good

Years at this apartment: 2004-01-01 - 2004-01-01
To be fair, I haven't actually moved in yet, but I wanted to post a review about pre move-in process such as coming in to look at units, dealing with the office staff, and the application/approval process, since that is definatley a factor when considering where to live.
When my husband and I started to look into a new apartment we began months early, and literally drove through nearly every decent complex in Everett, looking at the condition of the buildings, the conditions the grounds are kept in, the amount of open parking, etc...
We narrowed it down to a few top picks, Sienna being near the top.
We came in, and found out that not only would they hold a ground floor unit for us until our move in date - over 2 months later(we have a toddler son and didn't want him to have to up and down stairs and worry about that).
We were looking at places in the $900 range, and had read Sienna was also around that amount, but they were running a special where 2 free months could be stretched out across your lease to reduce it by $160 a month, making it a bargain at $750 a month.
A great deal for a luxury apt.
The office staff were very friendly and helpful.
Holding an apt for 2 months is going above and beyond the norm for customer service.
Some apt managers at other complexes actually laughed at me when i asked if they held apartments for a month or two (i like to get my move in things taken care of early and know where i will be living, not waiting until the last minute).
Most told me, 14 days is the most and not one day more.
Sienna was very accomodating though.
We put down our app fee on the unit we picked out, got approved a few days later, and then put down the $150 deposit.
That's the other nice thing they have.
There is no typical large deposit.
It makes moving in a lot more affordable.
It's so nice knowing that we have our unit held for us waiting for our move in date, and all we have to pay is our rent when we move in.
The best thing about Sienna though, and the thing that made us choose them over anyone else most of all is the parking though.
I have lived at a few different complexes, and I have never seen that much open parking.
I am very impressed.
Before I even put in an application I made sure to go through the parking lot at different times of the day, different days of the week checking the parking, and there was always adequate parking.
This was very important to me because of the places I have lived before virtually had none.
Guests had to park down the road at a gas station/mini mart and walk over, so it's a big deal.
To summarize I am very excited about my upcoming move in to Sienna and I hope to make it my home until I am ready to purchase my own house.
