Now Sage Apartments - Rent at Risk!

I moved into Sienna in May 2005.

By January 2006 my roommate had been the victim of a hit and run, our apartment was robbed (by our neighbor!) and my car was broken into and my custom speakers stolen.

Not a great start...

However, since they had a large dog policy and I have a 65 lb dog, we stayed.

Then in summer 2007 Etico sold the property and Equity Residential purchased it to turn it into condos.

They held a meeting trying to sell units to current residents (low-income residents and all) and then told us we would have to move at the end of our lease.

The latest joke' They couldn't sell the condos and are renting them as apartments again.

If you've been looking at this property, keep looking.

The area has high crime, the police and fire departments are non-responsive, the property is noisy and who knows when they'll decide to go condo again! Not to mention the rampant mold in the units and the fact that you can hear your neighbor's every move...

you'll think you're living near a herd of elephants.

I promise!
