Going Downhill...

I wrote the review in 2005 or so titled "No complaints, very nice apts". Well.. I'm still here. I started out in a building by the road, top corner, loved it, then got a roommate and transferred to building E which is toward the back. Stay away from these, cuz they were built over some sort of mudhole. I was on the bottom floor and soon enough, the mold started coming out from under the paint (obviously they just painted over it)... I complained, and so they were nice enough to move me back to the building by the road, top floor again, where I'm very happy with the unit itself.
Ever since the whole "going condo" thing.. Things have been crazy.. people moving out like crazy cuz they didn't want to or couldn't afford/get approved for buying.
I feel badly for those people cuz it ends up they aren't going condo. Robert was a great manager and I'm so glad I got situated in the non-moldy apartment before he left and was taken over by new management. Now they are even more expensive, thankfully I'm locked in a decent rent lease til I move out in March, but yah.. I would say just be really careful, save all paperwork, stick with the buildings closest to the road (C, A, B, but stay away from E and the one across from E.. Not sure about the other ones but they are not desirable due to all the construction going on, they tore down all the trees.. and of course there's the walmart that would be your backyard. LOL.
If you can afford the ridiculous rent price, go for it cuz they are actually pretty nice, i disagree with the loud complaints. they are well-insulated.. but as always, anywhere you go, i recommend top floors so you don't hear people walking around and flushing the toilets!
Good luck apartment hunting!
