The walls and ceiling seem to be paper thin.

Almost a year here, on the ist floor of a 3-story building. Staff very friendly and helpful. However, the unit construction leaves a lot to be desired...the walls seem to be paper thin. I constantly here the people that live above me walking around. TV and stereo sounds come right thru the walls, along with their dishwasher, washer & dryer, garbage disposal, faucet and shower, and vacuum cleaner, as if they were in my own apartment. Sewage pipes actually go right thru my bedroom closet, so anytime someone living above flushes, I can hear the rushing water sounds coming from the pipes, if I'm in the bedroom.
