I was a long time resident of The Highlander
Apartments. The residents were given no notice to the sell or transition time. The
owners were there, took over and started
changing everything immediately.

There's no longer a large lounge area to
gather and talk. The managers' do not make
themselves available for the residents to
talk and/or visit. All the new owners care
about is getting their money.

I remember when I was going through a hard
time and Laurie in maintenace pulled out a
$20 and gave it to me from her heart.

The apartments look a lot worse and it takes
a lot longer to get things done.

A friend keeps me posted and there's more
thefts there since new ownership of the
property came in.
