It is very unfortunate that the only a time a property seems to receive a review is when there is someone who is upset with the management. What better way than to retaliate getting evicted from an apartment commnuity than to publicly bad nouth the staff and the property' As the Community Director here at Bayview, I would like to take this opportunity to defend some of the comments being made about a property that I feel so pationatly about. Our management bought this property in April of 2006. We bought the property because we felt that it had great potential. The property was a bit run down in appearance and had some issues with problem tenants, however, after eliminating a few residents who refused to comply with the community policies, I was very proud of how the rest of the community came together. We have freshened up the community by adding a fresh coat of paint throughout the interior of the property, a new seal coat on the parking lot, new signage, and have received a tremendous amount of possative feedback from the residents on the changes that have been made! The location of the property is great because we are nestled in a residnetial neighborhood and are just up the street from Redondo Beach! Everything you need is with in 1 mile; grocery stores, post offices, shopping mall and market place and we are on the Metro bus line. We are a secured entry building with an intercom system for your visiting guest to reach you. I feel very strongly that we have a great group of residents, outstanding 24 hour maintenance support, and are backed by one of the strongest Owner/Management companies in our industry!

If the above rating is so true, then why is it that recent residents are posting complaints about the management and upkeep on this property. Although, this has been slowly improved, there are still things in the way of tenant rights and such that are being abused here. This management group is no better, and often worse than others. Our rent pays for our use of the pools and common areas and yet we had no use of it because of non-repairs. In evicting certain tenants, I've had conversations with some who still visit people here, and they were evicted just because they wanted to remain on a month to month agreement instead of being on a one year lease. The managers were going to increase their rent more than double if they didn't sign a yearly lease, etc. So the above statement was made with prejudice by the property managers.
