When renting here I was shown a model apartment and not allowed to see my unit until the day I was supposed to move in. Upon arrival I found the unit absolutely filthy and smelling of urine. I went several months without exterior lights, I had broken appliances and broken plumbing. What little maintenance is done; is with silicone (no matter what the problem). There is consistent drug activity, gang activity, tagging, unsupervised children, load music and fighting at all hours of the night. The dumpsters are always overflowing and garbage is left strewn across the parking lot. It appears that most of the tenants are section 8. In my opinion, this place is a ghetto and I would not recommend it to anyone, especially if they have kids. Police have arrested several of my neighbors during the year I was stuck here.
