This has been a mystery. I paid for a credit ck to rent an apt from them. Left my ck with the required deposit amount. My employer was contacted for work verification.
I waited a week & no communication. Went to the complex & was told by the leasing agent that I had called, left a voice mail msg. & had backed out of the deal. Not me, never made a call to them at all! This was for a unitD second floor 2 bedroom apt.
Was not given the result of the credit ck at the time I visited, but I did get my deposit ck back. Poor communication skills I suspect on their part, but I do know they rented the apartment to some else. After the initial disappointment & frustration because I had now wasted a week while other rental opportunities vanished, but wait, there is a happy ending here! I applied at another complex and was quickly approved, no hassles, very professional, so I am now moving this month to a great apartment!
