I moved in here when it was named Stonehaven Apartments. When I rented I was led to believe it was safe, updated, clean and friendly. Since moving in, it has been none of the above. The grounds are not kept up (even with the new managers), parking is a joke (unless you don't mind walking half the complex to get to your unit), the cops are here on a regular bases and the apartments are not updated only the model unit.

The indoor pool is closed more than it is open and the outdoor pool is under construction (still). The security gate does not work half the time, so anyone can come and go as they please.

When you address these issues with the managment team, you get the same old song and dance "we are doing our best", "we are working on it", "we are taking care of that" but with a smile. The appliances in the apartments are so outdated that the maintence men tell you that don't have parts for to fix yours any longer - and then you don't see them again.

I won't let my children play at the playgrounds due to the very unsafe nature of this complex and I won't even walk the grounds after dark. So if you don't mind riff-raft living next door to you, high speed police chases in the middle of the day when children are out playing and low budget apartments then by all means move right in!

I used to live there and I know exactly what you are talking about!

I don't know what you're talking about, I just moved in and I have a brand new apartment with brand new appliances and I don't live in the model. They are also landscaping in front of my building and started cleaning the outside to paint. They told me when I moved in that the pools were going to be closed so they can redo them too. So where would you say is "safe" when people are killing eachother even in the millionaire districts? Sounds like you need to live under a rock...

The person above has only yet to experience this place for what it really is, and that is aweful like the person who originally posted this said! Obviously they are too new to this place to have experienced what it is really like, and the snotty bitchy lease office girls still have their noses buried so far up there but, that they cant see how ------ it really is! Sounds like you need to come out from under the rock you are under and take a look around for a dose of reality instead of telling others that they should live under one. Did you get enough reality being woken up by the Seattle swat team yesterday morning??? Idiot! This place wants to try to convince you that they are soooo high class, but they are horrible. They try to boast that they are the only gated apartment complex and that you are safe, but its gated the same way that ghetto houses have bars in the window, cause its ghetto and unsafe! There is a huge gang and drug situation going on in here and oh a little prostitution if thats not enought. Just because they put new uncomfortable burber carpet in and painted a wall to call it accent wall doesnt stop this place from being bad. The new management is a corporation and could give a ---- about any tenants here! At least the old management team tried to work with people and there financial means, this place wants you to move out so that they can "renovate" each apartment and charge even more! This place sucks, I feel so sorry for anyone still stuck there with no way to move on, good luck.

Everyone should BEWARE. I've had rent raises before--but the max was $25 or so. WSG went up $25, my rent went up $120! That's a $145 increase--it'll happen to you, too. I've paid on time evry time for the last few years, and never had a complaint against me. They don't care about the tenants, they are waiting to remodel all the apartments to raise the property value to raise the rent higher. They have well rehearsed answers for your concerns and questions, and very obviously care nothing for tenants..except for when you pay the rent. They talk about the exciting improvements but in some buildings it's like a construction zone (the ones clostest to the office) It's the hottest time of the year and the painters have closed off all windows with plastic sheets---and left it overnight. How nasty is that? No windows in this heat? When they told us they were going to paint--they acted like they were doing US a favor and demanded, not politely asked, that we remove all belongins from decks and porches and "don't put them back until we tell you to". What kinda ---- is that? If you like high rent raises, if you like to be bossed around and treated unfairly, then this is the place for you!

Dosn't it seem that all the positive comments are coming from new residents? What about the ones that have already been living here. Iv'e been complaining about my 1980s dryer since I moved in and new residents get brand new apliances. The newness of this place will ware off soon enough and reality hit our new nieghbors like a brick.
