I moved here in Dec 2007 and have loved the place. It's clean, it's safe, and I do not know where those other people get that there's no parking. I can come home at midnight and there is always a place to park. It may not be in my front door, but it's also not that far away. The office staff may not be the warmest people in the world, but they're not here to be my buddies. They're here to manage the property, to assist in making sure that living here is a good experience for the renter, and to anticipate problems before they arise and resolve them. I was allowed to see a model apartment, by the way, before they even talked to me about filling out applications. They've always been courteous when I've called and reported a problem. They are quick to get maintenance over here and they always call me after the work is completed to make sure that I'm happy with the work. The only negative things I've noticed is that the maintenance staff either has a language barrier or they have a difficulty understanding concepts. I've had to have them over four times to fix the same issue because they would come fix something, but never the original issue. The other thing is the fact that the doors are drafty as hell in the winter and need to be insulated around the frames or replaced.

I really don't know why someone wouldn't want to live here. It's a gated community, it's clean, the rent is average for apartments this size with these amenities, and there's a freaking ton of parking. I think the other reviewers on here were disgruntled about other issues and took it out on the complex unfairly.

Maybe there's a ton of parking because people are moving out faster than apt's are being rented. As for being safe look up the police reports that are being filed, from domestic disturbence, theft, drugs, more drugs,Gang activity, shootings, stabbings. As for a gated community what a joke how many times are the gates actualy working, cars just drive in behind someone that actualy does have a card so what good does that gate really do? If you are living in the front part by the office they keep it cleaner and the grounds are more well groomed. However go further back and it is very different, although after the office is closed all bets are off no matter what part you live in.Try and go to the pool if it is open, try the gym if it is not rent to some group,or taken over by kids that think and ACT as if they own them.Try and drive down the road if there is a bunch of kids standing or loitering in the middle you have to wait for them to move, report it to the office and they want to know where they live and who there are rally like we would know that and if you do and report them and they find out you did (and some how they do find out) watch out for retaliation. You just moved in I was there for 8 years and had to move for my childrens and my safety. What good is having the matainence come if the office can't even get the work order correct and if you have to take off work to be there for them enter to attempt to repair whatever it can get pretty expensive especially if they feel you were the cause of the problem, they charge you to fix it.I'd like to hear how you feel about living there a year from now. I had friends both in office and maintenance,if you only knew what realy went on. Why do they have to have a guard at the front gate with it being a gated community. Did you really read the other reviews they were about issues concerning everything about the complex.Do you think they were writing about another complex. This site is here so that you can get opinons and if you did read them the majority of the reviews are very poor we all can't be wrong.Did you ever get your door insulated that worked or your door replaced?

What I've noticed about this web site is you can tell these are people who either got kicked out or don't know how to live in a apartment. I dare you to fine a "safe" Complex in South Federal Way. If you want Safe go to Bellevue and pay the extra rent. I just moved in here and from what I can see, this isn't that bad. Yes there are kids running around being jerks, but frankly thats what kids in appartments do! I've lived in lots Apartments over my life time either as a child or now as a adult. This is one of the better ones. I grew up in one that was 10 times worse than this.

I lived there for a year and a half and more recently a lady moved in with one kid developmentally disabled and the other just alittle rambuncious kid. they are sweet boys and both are under 5. The other day, like many days the normal boy was out playing unsupervised in front of the building shoveling dirt. that is fine, he wasn't doing anything wrong. But then I went back again, and he was gone but he left quite a hefty little surprise behind near his shoes and shovel. That is right a huge turd. The ghetto part is that the mom knew he did it and she didn't bother to clean it up. Instead she put him in the car without a carseat and took off somewhere. That is right she left his ---- there. My kids went right to it and even though I freaked out to get them safely into the house, the mom didn't even try to apologize or assure she would clean it. I called the managers and they said they would call them to go pick it up. it was cleaned. THANK GOD, but i do believe this woman is about as ghetto as they come, not only does she let her kids poop around the building, she throws her kids diapers out the door on the ground and leaves them there for other people to pick them up. I think the managers are getting desperate for renters again and are renting just about anyone even section 8 people. So good luck with your oh so safe and clean environment. And seriously drive down further into the complex and check out the parking around 9 or 10 at night and see if you notice any empty spots.

Yes. They are ghetto. I had a neighbor who used to throw up off the balcony into my potted plants. I never had a problem renting before. In fact this loser apartment got me so mad, I bought a house.
