First of all there is literally no parking. My husband worked the swing shift and had to park half the apartment complex away. When we moved there, the complex was loaded with loud, obnoxious people. The guy above us beat his wife continuously, and you could hear everything because the walls are so thin. The guy down from us screamed his head off all night. The cabinets fell apart a few weeks after we moved in and the refrigerator leaked. Our car was broken into as well. At night you could hear the car alarms going off, because some dude was out there trying to break in. We cleaned the sorry place up when we moved out, and then they took our security deposit and on top of that they charged us another $700. They wanted to replace their carpet. In other words they were charging us for wear and tear, which is against the Landlord's law. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG

Get a lawyer and/or take them to court and do not pay them or let them intimidate you. They pulled the same with me when I moved out and charged me for ridiculous 'damages'. I paid only to avoid collections but I filed a claim in small claims court against them.I NEVER backed down. A week before the trial they paid me what they knew was rightfully owed to me.My only regret is they never got the chance to look like fools in front of a judge.Don't be afraid of them. Know your rights and take them to court!

Do not pay them! I agree with taking them to court. They pulled the same thing with me last month when we moved out. They also wanted $750 for carpet replacement, paint, and cleaning...all of which is normal wear and tear. We are now taking them to court next month. I highly do not recommend moving to this complex. We lived there two years and got nothing but a headache dealing with crimes and getting the runaround from managment.

This is interesting to know. They apparently don't even bother trying to abide by the Tenant Laws of the state. I always wondered why many tenants move out and leave furniture or don't even bother cleaning up. Now I know why. We are just too honest to do that. It's too bad these people try to punish honest people.
