The apartments were alright physically, albeit expensive. However, the parking lot was a cornucopia of delight for car thieves and hoodlums. The lots were as dark as a Christmas without presents, which incidentally was also the day my car was stolen from The Cove, and the security guards moonlight as car thieves. In addition, there is a gap between the lot and the apartments that takes nearly a minute to traverse, so even if you actually witness a person breaking into your car, you can't possibly get to it in time to rescue it. The best solution I found in my time at The Cove was simply to wave at the grinning criminal and grab a beer. The cops only take about an hour so relax and enjoy it. So if you are a former or current car thief seeking employment, or if you are simply in the area and need a ride somewhere, stop by The Cove apartments.
