Before you consider moving in, please make sure to ask the following regarding:
their crime preventive measures;
Maintainance repsonse time;
Residential policies;
Washer/dryer/dishwasher - are these functional
What type of guarantee they have if you aren't satisfied within the 1st 30 days.

If you can't get this in writing, and if the mgmt team refuses to let you see the apartment that you'd like to rent (they told me that it wasn't rent ready which really meant that they were completely understaffed with their maintenance crew, which consists of 1 man); then I would continue to look elsewhere. Would you purchase a car before being able to look at it inside out
