As a concerned resident and parent, I recommend that anyone looking to rent from this or any apartment check with the Federal Way police department's crime statistics department. You have a right to know. If No apartment community is perfect, and if they honestly represent themselves, they and you should have little to worry about. Find out how out how often the police have come out within the last couple of years to whatever apartment you're looking to move into, and find out what for. Don't make the same mistake I made; signing up for an apartment without seeing the actual apartment I was moving into (don't be fooled by the model apartment), not asking the tough questions, and believing everything I was told by the management team. Your safety should come first, and there's no $$$ amount on that. You shouldn't have to negotiate that!
