When I first moved to this area, I was told to stay out of Federal Way. I was going to be working in the Fife area, so I decided to look around. I called about two gazillion complexes and finally, I spoke with a this girl on the phone at Enchanted Woods. When I went in, I spoke to Chylo and Melanie, and they actually remembered me from my phone call, even though I couldn't remember who I spoke to! I thought that was great. I told them that I wasn't too sure about living in Federal Way, because of what I had heard, and they answered all of my questions honestly. Of course crime happens when so many people get together, but they also told me that the people here are really nice, and that they all have a tendancy to look after one another. I was sold, even before I saw my new apartment. The grounds were pretty and everyone seemed to know Chylo when she took me to see my new apartment. She told me that she had been living there for about 4 years. WOW, a management that lives here too!!!!! Anyway, during my stay here, I've noticed that they have awesome beginning of the summer parties at the pool, kids club stuff and I've even seen them outside planting flowers and painting!! If they are so interested in keeping this place nice, then why shouldn't I be' I had heard that they had had a few problems in the past, with crime and whatnot, but I haven't had any problems, and neither have the people that I have spoken to that live around me. Some of them have told me that there were some rough people here, but that the management booted them all out. I like that idea! When I go into the office, the staff knows my name and which apartment I live in, and since they have a great maintenance crew on board now (Mitch, we love you!!), our stuff gets fixed as soon as he can get right to it. He's so nice and he really knows his stuff.
So overall, this place has gone thru a huge transformation in the last 2 years, and I would recommend it to my family and friends.
