I've lived in this complex for 21 months and I am very satisfied. I can't think of any problems with crime, whatsoever. The units are sort of close together and it's easy to look into your neighbors windows but if you keep the blinds down, then you have no issues. Other than that, I??d say it??s one of the most private complexes you can find. The community is gated and you barely see your neighbors, let alone riff-raff just passing by. The price for what you get is pretty good too; I??d probably pay $200-300 a month more for a place like this somewhere else in Federal Way. Now a few downsides??

- The parking situation isn??t the best. You get a ??two-car garage?? that??s really just a lone one-car garage and one outside space. Other than that, there??s no visitor parking other than parking in the fire lane which has never been a problem for anyone.

- Maintenance: I??ve noticed little nickel-and-dime problems with the apartment. The washer??s circuit breaker has some problems once in awhile, my toilet??s flapper broke on me, the knob on my bath tub faucet cracked and had to be replaced, the plunger for one of the sinks broke and the water heater doesn??t accommodate two or more people showering consecutively. Now this may seem like a maintenance nightmare but it really isn??t all that bad, just little annoyances.

Overall, I??d definitely rent here if you??re looking in the Federal Way area. I??m planning on moving but only because I now work in Seattle and I want a shorter commute. I??m sure the place I end up in won??t be as nice.
