Never again....

I have had problems since the first 24 hours of taking occupancy. The first night we moved in the entire downstairs of our 2 story townhome flooded. The people the property contracted to install the new carpet/linoleum forgot to put the hose in the drain for the washer. Before we knew it, we came back from picking up our last load to find our place overcome by 2-3" of standing water. All the furniture/boxes, etc was ruined. We began to call the "after hours emergency" line (9:30pm) on our lease agreement only to find out it's the main office number. Finally at 1:30AM, someone called up only to inform us that the maintenance person lives in GIG HARBOR and would be there in the morning to fix the problem.
We have had 2 other "flood" related issues since then--one involving the backdoor: when it rains it floods, literally under our backdoor and in the kitchen, and the dishwasher! Let me remind you I was instructed to "clean up the water with bathroom towels" until the maintenance people could resolve the problem the following day.
PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE!!! There is nowhere to park. When signing your lease they make sure to mention the "strict" rules for parking; however fail to hold up on their part of the agreement. Many many times we had to call to the office to ask them to talk to our neighbors about 3-4 cars parked in front of their garage. Trying to get to your unit is like playing Tetris! Good luck!
Let the rumor rest--Sandy & Bud (office managers') are brother and sister!! Everyone I know will only go to the office if Sandy is there. We don't bother stopping if we see Bud's light blue Ford station wagon. We finally adapted the thinking of, "it can wait until tomorrow!" Bud is entirely unprofessional, rude, condescending, and inconsiderate. During our first emergency with flood water, he continued to YELL at both my fiance and I over the phone at 1:30 in the morning!!! He had absolutely NO compassion for the situation. He lives on the property and didn't even bother suggesting to come and help us with the mess!!! He was just quick to mention that we should claim it on our renters insurance. (First step in his attempt to not claim responsibility!) Why he still continues to work there, I have no clue.
The yard service people they hire are horrible. They are apparently supposed to clean up our neighborhood, however each week I have to sweep off all the leftover grass clippings, leaves, dirt, etc from my front porch because they just blow it there.
Good luck if you have anything that needs to be fixed!! They claim NO responsibility for anything. Our phone jack doesn't work. We can't even use our landline (that we pay extra for just to let people in the gate) because the wiring is wrong. They will not pay to have it fixed or hire someone to fix it. We were instructed to call Qwest and have them come out to fix it and pay for it ourselves' OH! And don't bother drying your hair! I lose power to half my unit whenever my hairdryer is running. EVEN WHEN I TURN EVERYTHING OFF IN THE UNIT!!
All the gutters are clogged and create HUGE "lakes" of water everywhere on the property. I feel like I live at Niagra Falls.
