this place is overrun with rats. You wouldnt assume this because the apartments are relatively nice and well maintained. I was initially VERY happy with the apartment and told everyone how happy I was. Then I realized I HAD RATS. they are very large, I even saw one that was larger than my foot, and I have seen them actually scale up the siding of the building. In the evenings you can see them run accross the parkinglot, so I know they are all over. I have spoken with multiple neighbors and they are all are having similar experiences as well. The "exterminator" who comes to supposedly trap the rats is horrible. They only place out these sticky trays, which do not work. I find trays empty, filled with hair, which tells me that the rat gets stuck and gets right back out. I find feces throughout my apartment, on the counters, on the couch in the bedrooms, you name it. This is the most disgusting living situation imaginable. and My home is SPOTLESS, I bleach and vacuum EVERY DAY. There is no food or anything laying out, because it has gotten to the point that I wont even eat there because I am so disgusted. At night I have to put towels down under the bedroom doors to keep them from coming in! I dont eat in my home, and spend as little time as possible there, usually staying with friends or a hotel. The final straw was when my neighbor expressed concern for actual safety and management told her not to worry about a rat bite as long as everyone has had all of their shots. ARE YOU KIDDING ME''' I really really WANTED to stay in this apartment. The layout is great, nice pool, very nice company and speedy maintenance, location is great too but none of this makes up for the rat infestation. and like I said, I know for a fact that Many people are having the same exact problems, so it is not a contained problem just to my unit or even my building. I wouldnt recommend moving here unless you have a very high tolerance for these things. My concern is, too, that because there are so many and how the exterminator really doesnt do anything, that this problem is not going to go away overnight.

I live at Fox Run and have never had a problem like the one mentioned here. There are MANY squirrels living in our community, but never have I seen a rat.
