Tell me why my lease was up march 31st and when i moved out the came after me 2 months later for april saying i didnt give them notice they had a year notice that my lease was up the 31st of march and i handed them the keys on the 28th of march. On top of that mine and my roomates car got stolen right out from under our assigned car port.

It is Washington state law that every resident gives notice 20-days prior to the end of the month. Would you like the management company to break the law or change the terms of the lease for you. If you read your lease which is a legal document it would probably say that your lease would continue on a month to month basis unless you renew or give notice. The fact that your lease was ending is not a notice. Dont be mad as someone else becausse you are irrisponsible and chose not to read a lease that you signed your name to.

Yep!! Ptkfamily is correct and I bet you'll know better next time! Sorry you didn't read your lease or know the law. Cars get stolen/broken into everywhere, its the world today! You can call the police dept for exact crime stats.

Murders happen every single day also. This doesn't mean that people should not give a sh##. It helps when management shows that they care and don't come up with things to say like, well it happends everywhere it's just the world today. All we want is some common courtesy! You know like well folks i'm really sorry that happend maybe we can get a patrol car to swing in here a couple times a night if they can. SHOW YOU CARE!!! We don't think you guys can pay for everything or fix things like theft but show you care. It's called customer service but I guess since it's an apartment complex that doesn't apply.

I called and gave the date we were moving out and the office staff INTENTIONALLY failed to mention it had to be written notice, they don't even give tenants a fighting chance. Oh well, they are all going to hell anyway.
