...then, by all means, live in these apartments. However, if you want to be treated like the decent human being you are, I recommend a smaller community with more of a caring, helpful atmosphere. Not only was I charged another month's rent at the inflated month to month price for turning in my notice to vacate less than 24 hours late, I was also forced to live in moldy conditions for 7 months after my roof in the storage closet caved in. The management was absolutely unresponsive to my several complaints regarding the mold, until I had to stoop to their level and threaten to report them. After being the perfect tenant for two years (paying my rent on time every month, clean, no noise complaints), and being forced to live in unlivable conditions for 7 months, I expected to be treated with courtesy and some understanding for my only tardiness (turning in my notice to vacate less than 24 hours late). Unfortunately, this was not the case, as I was informed that "it is Washington State Law (that the notice be turned in 20 days before the month's end)". I understand this law is for the property's protection, however, the property has the right to either enforce this law or not. They do have a choice, and they chose money rather than overlooking one mistake after two years of none. I would have understood if it was one day before the month's end, but 19' Not to mention the fact that there is no security in this place; my car and several others were broken into. The trash bins and recycle are constantly overflowing, and the place looks like a complete mess, but they wait until the last minute to clean it up. The walls are paper thin; I could hear my neighbor snoring in the night. The apartments themselves are a decent size, but poorly built and maintained. They are just not worth all of the hassle. This place is the Wal-Mart of the apartment industry. I highly suggest looking for a "mom and pop shop", smaller community instead. You'll be much happier, being treated like a human being, rather than just a number.
I do have to say, however, that the only person who was "real" and nice to me in this office was Nichole; unfortunately, Nichole has no authority in this place, and she could do much better with her great people skills than in this dump. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ

You need to file a lawsuit against the property management company pertaining to "Warranty of Habitability"--where it is their lawful duty to provide you with a habitable place to live. The mold alone should disqualify them here and make them liable. You can do this after you move. If enough people started doing this, these slum lords in Federal Way will go back to Somalia or Baghdad or whatever slum they came from and learned how to manage. See the Tenants Union of Washington State website for information.
