comparitively well priced and spacious

Your experience here kind of depends on your neighbours. The apartments are pretty old, but still look nice. For the size, they compare well to most other apartments in price. It is a pretty good apartment complex for families with children as there are many kids around and a playground. There are police on site but it is a somewhat dangerous area.
