Rent keeps going up, should I move'

I'm getting very concerned. I have renewed my lease twice now and the third time is getting close, last year they tried to raise it $100, $50 the year before. Currently I know I can rent another apt in the area for about $50 more than I currently pay and it has a security gate, 3 swimming pools with at least one indoors and a full weight room and lots of other things. I really hate to move, that's why I didn't last year but I can't afford much more. I'm starting to wonder if they value tenants that stick around' The maintenance guys have been pretty good but some of it is the same old cheap tricks to cosmetically fix things. I've had a couple of costly problems due to the age of this apt but I love the private setting with the smaller buildings and the trees and all give it such a nice feel. I'm thinking of contacting corporate to see if they can influence them to keep a steady renter in here.
Not sure what to do.

oh...and we've had cars stolen and broken into and parties out of hand a few times
