Not bad.

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2008
I've lived here since 2002 and they have always worked with me on problems etc. The maintenance has been prompt, but I wish they had Saturday appointments. I have a dog and I don't like to not have anyone here in the apartment without me here. By the way it is a $500 deposit for some reason for a pet, and you only get back 250$. Even in Seattle you can get a cheaper dog deposit in a nicer building. Not sure why it's so high. My particular apartment was upgraded to the modern appliances and linoleum, so that was very nice. Not all are and they are stuck in the 70's, if you look at the apartments ask which ones have the upgrades and if any are available. I've been lucky and have had quiet neighbors for the most part, but the walls are pretty thin. So hopefully when my neighbor now moves out soon I will not get a loud person with music banging the whole day. No wall air conditioners are allowed only portable units, my place gets boiling in the summer even with all the windows and fans going, and I'm not in the sun. Also a warning these apartments are located right next to section 8 housing and there are a lot of ghetto people living next door, literally. I've had my cars broken into 4 times. They DO NOT HAVE SECURITY, they used to but for some reason stopped so make sure you have a good alarm. They've done some upgrades to the pool area, they put in a real gate but everyone in the section 8 apartments thinks it's ok to use it and their kids too. My rent has gone from 530 to 733 in 6 years so not bad I suppose but that is not including the 43$ garbage and water bill every month. They do not have dumpsters which is good and bad. You pay an extra fee for the garbage 'tote' they give you to put your trash out in, it's about a 13 gallon trash can with a lid. If my apartment was anywhere else I would really love it, the floor plan is great for a one bedroom lots of room and a mini washer and dryer too. I am not renewing my lease again and will probably be moving to Seattle, if all goes well. Only because my job is there. Good luck.
