I have lived at Panther Ridge for two years now, and have loved it... Recently though, I have realized how unfairly they hike up the rent on the tennants who are staying with them- that just doesn't seem right. When I moved in I was paying $710 per month, and now I'm up to $850- So basically, if I were to sign a new lease rather than renew my current one, I could save a whole lot of money. Besides that though, Panther Ridge has been great. I am not from Washington, so to have a feeling of 'home' while I am away from my actual home was huge for me. There's lots of trees (= privacy and shade), the staff has always been really sweet and helpful to me, the maintenence staff is incredible... Always right on top of even the tiniest request, and until recently it has always been really quiet 24/7- New and noisy neighbors are not their fault though. Utilities and electricity are just for your own unit which is nice, and they have a garbage service that you just set your garbage bag out on the front porch (in a provided white bin) and it gets picked up for you... Not bad. Overall, if it wasn't for the principle of charging more for their "valued residents," I would probably be staying. Here's hoping that I can find another place that feels as home-y!
