I rented a 2 bdrm/2 bath for 2 years until I was forced out because they were converting that side of the complex to condo's. During this process the office staff was disrespectful and rude. We received a note that there would be added noise due to construction in the area. We woke up the next morning to find workers tearing off the siding of our building and sweeping roof shingles onto our heads. The ground was littered with nails and work equipment. When we phoned the office staff to find out what was happening, no one knew what we were talking about and the Manager avoided us. We then received a note about 2 weeks later asking if we would like to move to another apartment in the complex for our convenience since the construction must be getting on our nerves. We refused until we were told by the manager that we had to, even without an explination. We found out the hard way that they were switching to condo's. We were told by the office staff when asked if we could possibly move back into our apartment after the construction, that we would not be able to afford the rent! Then were told when we move we would have to pay almost $100 more in rent for a much less nicer apartment. The staff was horrible during this stressful time, was unhelpful and miscommunicated with each other. We heard different things from each of them. The manager is worse, where she was willing to give up tenants that have lived in their complex for 2 years over a lousy extra $100. She bullied us into moving into another part of the complex.
The apartment we then moved into is a pit. The dishwasher is not screwed in the plumbing leaks in the kitchen and all the windows are molding. All these problems have been reported to the office 4 times. Not once has a service person been out to at least fix them. When I call they always say they are swamped and will have someout asap. Also it is law that they take care of the mold problem, which they don't. Also beware of the water payment. They seem to keep it and don't credit the account. We paid a months worth of water in July and it took them 3 months to report to the water management company we paid. So we had to pay late fee's and it only got credited because I called and complained.

I had a similar experience at this place. I also lived on the 272nd side and was forced out to make way for the Saybrook Condo. They wanted me to break my current lease so they could move me across the complex into a worse apartment and pay more rent. It was a big rip off. They also were not upfront about what was going on on that side either. I tried to complain and the office staff told me to call the owner because they had no idea what was happening.
