Where do I start'

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
I lived in Pinewood Village from 2005-2006. Didn't like it - didn't hate it. I've been in worse places (Namely Addison Greens in Puyallup). However, here were some of the problems I encountered at Pinewood Village. My neighbors were horribly noisy - coping with them for a year felt like an eternity and reminded me of noisy college nights.
I had an accident that rendered me disabled while I was living there and I needed to move to the ground level. One apartment was open (disabled apartment) with easy access. The apartment was given to an employee who was NOT disabled. This is why I moved out.
Rather than give me what I needed, I was given the choice between two other apartments. One was on the first floor with steps going down. Doesn't work for someone who can't walk - I was between crutches and a wheele cart for a year. The other choice was an apartment that had stairs going down as well, but I could get in without stairs by rolling myself around the building. It just didn't seem right that a disabled tenant couldn't have a disabled apartment, but the employee got it without having a disability.
I also heard from many tenants in that area of the property that there are big problems with the parking on that side. Lots of people park in other people's assigned parking spaces and nothing gets done about it. There is very little guest parking on that side as well.
I would say - if you have a disability.... definitely don't move in here. They do not comply with the Americans with disabilities act. I don't know about anything else, but there were quite a few creeps living there. Oh, and you can hear the phone ringing from the Ford Dealership down the street... it always sounds like your neighbor is not picking up the phone.
Oh yeh... they painted it an ugly crusty blue. Just makes it seem cheap and low class now.
