The only thing Pinewood Village is missing, falling short of calling this apartment community the "GHETTO" is COCKROACHES. If you are intersted in living here-think again. Since I have been living here (nearly six months) my car, aswell as others, have been damaged by this group of unruly kids throwing rocks. The kids have damaged atleast 2 cars windshields, stuck rocks in another cars wheel-well, and scratched the paint on a few others by playing games within/around the carports. Complaint after complaint have been directed to Allied Group,(the company managing this complex) and no response or action has been taken. The new manager was suppost to move-in here but she isn't because she doesn't feel safe. Not to mention she doesn't want any damage done to her new beautiful vehicle. You would think this would finally give Allied Group a clue about making the parents responsible for the damages and destruction that is being caused by this select group of kids. Then look at the rent for this place know' Outragous. Where is the hardwood floors and stainless steele appliances. In the apartments there are no baseboards so the rug continuously pulls away from the wall. Ants are running throughout all the building structures. Visit during the week and you will see trash dumped outside the dumpster because parents have their little kids take-out the trash and they cannot reach the lip. So instead, they throw it on the ground. Looks like crap. Then there are rocks all over the place inwhich the kids make sure to throw at anyone and anything. Then there isn't a maintance man, so repairs take forever. And because there isn't a maintance man, there isn't anyone to keep up on the pool chemicals; so 3-4 days out of the week the pool is closed. Also, many people here like to use the "race card." Hello, why can't we all just be "Americans." Finally, when it comes to the major issues with the kids, the police won't do anything if the child is under 11 because it is on private property. The police said it is the managers decision to do something. And believe me, they haven't--because it has continued. In the lease, the management and property owners aren't responsible for damaging caused to the leasees property or vehicles. So if you rent here, you better get "Renters Insurance."
