We have had some bad management for a few years. A new company bought the complex last winter, and have done a lot to improve the apartments.
We had a revolving door with managers for a while, but things seem to be stabilizing. The staff now is a lot better, and seem to be getting things under control for the most part.
A family just got evicted by my apartment and they were one of the biggest problems here. The assistant manager (I think she's the manager now') started driving through, kind of patrolling, the area a lot and it's tamed the wild kids and "thugs" hanging around.
I would recommend people to move here, because it is truly looking a lot better, and it is pretty convenient. The staff is pretty approachable, and if you have a complaint they do actually respond, unlike the previous company.
Overall, I'm happy and will renew in a month or so if things keep improving.
