The management lies! This is the biggest problem. If they would be honest and tell you to protect yourself and your car it would be better. When our car was stolen, we asked the police about the safety and crime rate in this area. He told us that they have to come to our apt community daily. There are more cars stolen from our community than any other.
The management stressed the importance of background checks when we moved in because "the apt community is so safe." When our car was broken into (prior to being stolen) we asked about security. We were told that there is security on duty at night. This is a lie.
I spoke with another resident who told me he called the police because he saw someone going from door to door trying to enter apts.
Don't move in here. You will regret it.
