Even if you signed the lease, the Heights cannot enforce their requirement that you give 60 days notice.
See a lawyer--for free at the library on 1st Avenue here in Federal Way.

No Its not Illegal. Washington state laws requires a minimum of twenty days. But you can put 60days in your lease which is a legall document. Which if you sign it your liable.

No you are wrong Ms. Manager. You are a crook and a liar. You cannot put 60 days in your lease. You cannot override the law. TENANTS--even if you sign a lease you are not liable--SEE A LAWYER. They can require 20 days even if you sign a lease. It isn't the norm but they can require 20 days. NOT 60 days. These people are idiots and crooks. |

WA law protects you from crooks like this and they specify that if they put illegal things in your lease you are not liable. It is void. They can require 20 days even if you sign a lease. It isn't the norm but they can require 20 days. NOT 60 days. These people are idiots and crooks. |
