Nothing Has Changed

We had hoped with a new corporate set of owners things would change. Well they have! Rent has jumped up for existing residents, and the amount new incoming residents are going to pay according to places like rent.com, etc will pay even more. They are improving some apartments for the incoming residents, but those of course will reflect the new price. Those of us who are not getting ANY of the interior improvements still got the huge rent increase. One plus was they did get rid of Debbie, who was a complete imbecile. The new office personnel is nice of course, but continue to do idiotic things. The officer who posted is right about theft here. They continue to scold about stupid things, yet let things like increasing theft and vandlism go unattended. The parking is still HORRIBLE. Many nights after working nightshift, I could only find a parking space by the lower entrance, which is more than 7 buildings AWAY from my apartment. I had to deal with that EVERY night I was working the nightshift. They have done away with issued parking tabs for our vehicles, so some residents have in excess of 4 automobiles per apartment. However, they do NOTHING! It must be much more important to type out little "how are we doing" questionnaires than actually address any of these issues. Don't forget, if you plan to move out, the new agreement states you must give a 60 DAY NOTICE.... I am counting the days!
