This complex is now called Village At The Lake. Since the new ownership (1999'), there has been a a constant stream of apartment managers, and it is almost impossible to find anyone in the office, even during posted office hours. It is very difficult to get anything done about excess noise or people parking in your spot(assigned parking). My parking spot is right in front of the building, so everyone loves to park there, and I have never been able to get the management to do anything about it. After returning home late at night from the grocery store and finding someone in my spot again, I was forced to park in another tenant's spot, as it was raining, dark, and I had my baby with me. In the morning, I went to the parking lot to find that they had towed MY car away, although there seems to be a problem with towing cars out of MY spot...When I went to the office to complain, I found a very rude and obnoxious manager who could have cared less about my being upset. There have been many car break-ins here, my car being one of them. Although there is security at night to tow tenant's cars away, they don't seem to see these vandals at work. I moved out of a smaller apt. here to a larger, remodelled one and already within 1 year the new range and new dishwasher are not functioning properly(very cheap appliances). I have had a big problem geting anything done about loud, obnoxious neighbors-in fact it seems that this is primarily a "party" complex, not a good place for a family. There are constant notices on the door about new rules and new managers, and I am very happy to be moving out of here!
