The first month I lived here, there was a guy at 3 in the morning yelling outside and running around naked, obviously on PCP. After half and hour of this the police finally showed up, zapped him a few times and arrested him. Management not only didn't address this in any way, but I found out later he was a friend of a resident (who was infact outside with him blasting their car stereo) and nothing happened to them either. No warning, no threat to evict, nothing! From that experience I knew we were in trouble. In the 9 months I lived here there were over 10 cars stolen and/or broken into. Apartments, as well as garages were being broken into and the management never advised anyone. So not only is security is a huge issue but management doesn't say anything to advise you of what you should do to secure your belongings. They figure "it is better for you to not know if you did not witness it." They actually told me this. Recently I watched a child, no older than 13, get hauled away from the building next to mine because he was cracked out. You will find beer bottles and syringes at the playground so don't let your kids play there. I was constantly woken up in the middle of the night to people fighting and all drugged up. I never felf safe. Parking is a mess, we had to rent 2 carports just to guarentee a parking space and we only have 2 cars! There is one trash compactor for the entire complex, which to give you an idea is located on both sides of the street for the equivalent of 4 blocks and the buildings go from A all the way to something like HH! So it is a big complex with again 1 trash compactor, truly disgusting. Mold is an issue and one they don't address. They will advise you that it is your fault, that you need to open windows and turn down your heat and all kinds of things to prevent from them being responsible. We had to have our heater replaced but not until after they told me I was doing it wrong (apparently I don't know how to turn up the theromstat correctly). I argued with them and made them look at it while I was there. They hesitated but finally agreed to replace it. Our oven didn't work right from the begining and when we moved they still did not replace it. We reminded them every month and they always said they would take care of it but didn't. These are only a few things that we had to deal with ourselves. I worked for a short period of time in the office and came to find our issues were minor compared to other peoples issues and you would not believe how they handle your issues behind your back! They are very nice to your face, but in most cases that is where the niceness ends. After our lease expired and we did not take the option to renew they raised our rent. It went from $775 to $850. A price we were told was the new going price for our apartment (we did not get a move in special) but a friend of ours went to the office "looking" for an aparmtent and found they were offering it for $775 still, again not a move in special. So I guess they like turnover and don't want to keep the residents who pay their rent on time without issue. When we moved out we went through and cleaned, very well, our apartment hoping to get our deposit back. Only to find out that the $175 non-refundable portion is not for cleaning but for admin fees! So your $175 refundable part really isn't because they take out your last month of w/s/g (ours was $96 with no past due balance) and then use the rest for the cleaning they need to do, like carpets, that most complexes charge a non-refundable portion for. To say the least I have been very disappointed. I have lived a lot of different places with different standards of living and this is by far on my top 3 of where not to live. Take it from someone who knows as a resident and a employee- you do not want to live here. I do have to say... For the ants people, ants are everywhere and if they are in your house that is not an issue with your complex it is an issue with your house cleaning!

Thank you. You seriously saved me from renting here, and I don't think I can handle one more bad apartment.
