This place is horrible

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007

I have lived here for two years now and just about everything other people have said is true. Unfortunately I'm stuck here until next summer. Here's the 411 on Woodside. I've numbered them:

1 - If you come home after 6pm you risk not having anywhere to park
2 - People who speak spanish seem to get better results when dealing with management
3 - Certain cars never leave a space and even the manangement had two trucks that weren't working taking up space. One of the trucks caught on fire and was sitting in a free space for over 3 months! Then in stead of getting rid of it they just moved it to the back of apartments into another uncovered space! There was also multiple cars with flats taking up uncovered spaces (even one car missing the back wheels that sat in front of the office!)
4 - They do nothing to warn people about theft. My apartment was broken into and I asked management to warn people in a letter or the newsletter they occasionally put out and they did neither
5 - People park anywhere they want and block you in but if you do it and are not of spanish speaking decent the likelihood that your car will be towed is almost guaranteed
6 - The walls are thin, you can hear when people are taking showers or flusing the toliet
7 - Repairs aren't made effectively
8 - People stare at you for no reason and are rude to you when they are in your way
9 - The pool is never open for more than a few days and this is during the summer. They allow kids to bring in rocks, sticks, toys, and leave them in the pool and hot tub. They do not clean the pool for weeks at a time.
10 - They create rules for parking and do not enforce them
11 - There are always unfixed potholes in the driveway and parking lot
12 - They allow people of spanish speaking decent to fix on their cars even though the rules state it is forbidden

At first it seemed nice. But it quickly changed. I hate it here and I'm sure most people do [who have pride about where they live and who are not of spanish speaking decent]. I don't think this is necessarily a bad reflection on the people who live here. They are only doing what the management if allowing them to do. The management is very poor and does not do a good job of running this complex at the basic levels. It is one of the cheapest places to live but it definitely lives up the the saying "you get what you pay for." You're rent will be cheap but so will be every other aspect of living here. Even though the rent is one of the cheapest around, the quality of life here is so low, it's not even worth it.

Beware they do a very good job of masking all the horrific problems with this place. It is not until you live here that you really see what it's like. Head my warning and all the others on here. DO NOT LIVE HERE! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

The 4.0 and 5.0 ratings must be management because they are lies...plain and simple. As soon as my lease is up, I am gone. Good riddens to bad rubbish!
