Just because you rent from a town house the problems are still the same. The walls are so thin I can hear what my next door neighbor is thinking. When we first moved in our water boiler was broke and we went without water for 3 days. The parking here is horrible we have a one car garage because the two car garage was not offered to us and when its time to park the second car my wife and I have to walk 5 buildings down to find a open parking space. Also one of our neighbors seem to make the "No Parking fire zone" her own personal parking space and the managment dept seems to condone it. The building was built with cheap product the wood on the balcony ledge is hard and if you get a idea to just lean on the ledge to enjoy the view of the construction going on you will get a couple of splinters. Please dont get me started on the section 8 tenants! In short my wife and I CAN NOT WAIT TO MOVE!!!! we felt for the mortgage we are paying that we would be with a upper class of tenants that is not the case here! they just let anyone move in here dont let the name fool you !!!

This property does not qualify for housing under the Section 8 program. Check with the county....I know, I work for the housing authority.

mgmnt242: Thanks for the clarification on section 8 housing regulations, however, I do not believe this poster intended his comment regarding "section 8 tenants" to be taken literally. Lighten up.

Section 8 ...They are talking about the apartments accross the street... because they are GHETTO!

Poster is correct, don't let the glamour of the cabanas fool you. We assumed the same,we thought because we paid more we would not have to deal with the horror stories of ghetto apartments. I am a first time apartment renter, but after this experience never again will I live in apartments. We moved here after we sold our house and were not quite ready to buy again, so we figured that everything would be okay, becuase after all it is a gated community. Well it's not, the walls are so thin I can hear a drawer close or my neighbors conversations. People walk over from the apartments across the street, to use the ammenities that I so much pay for, not to mention the fact that they come over in groups with their towels, and walk right in front of the office doors to come into the gated community. This is also not a kid friendly place,I must say we have been counting down till our move out date, and we cannot wait to leave.
