I've lived in apartments since I was a kid, so I think it's fair to say I know what apartment living can entail. I can say with 100% honesty that this is the best complex I've lived in. First off, its pretty small, if you compare it to most other apartment complexes, which makes a HUGE difference. Its much easier for management to, well, manage. Maintenence is refreshingly quick to respond when needed. My one complaint was when they fixed a leak in my shower which required resurfacing, and they left my bathroom dusty. ONE call to management, and the maintenence guy came back the very next day and cleaned the entire bathroom. It's also quiet here, not much traffic going through. And, what a surprise, a gated community with a WORKING gate! One downside is that the walls are a little thin, but our neighbors arent loud; we can really only hear the people upstairs. Not many kids here, which is a plus if youre not a kid person like me. Having a discreet trash compactor at the entrace to the complex is nice because theres no over flowing dumpsters on the grounds. Before my boyfriend moved in, I was a single female living alone, and I always felt very safe here. I do wish they had an indoor pool, but the workout room is really nice. You know, I read reviews of this place being horrible. My standards are fairly high, and as mentioned before, I KNOW what its like living in a truly "ghetto" complex. This place doesnt even come close. Although we are downsizing from a townhouse style unit to a 1 bedroom, were definately not leaving this community anytime soon.
