We moved out after a year of living here. We cleaned it all out to the fullest extent - even renting steam cleaners! 1 month later we're slapped with a over $1000 bill for "carpet replacement and full paint" ...are you serious' We never had one complaint against us, were very clean, no pets, and were there from the beginning.
At first it seems great - a luxury gated complex (though the gate doesn't close until 7pm in the summer and reopens at 6am), the locked mail boxes (yet the postman mixes up mail constantly), the beautiful "wetland serene" (oh but those kids are always playing in the creek at night), the huge parking lot (impossible to find a spot late at night). We loved it for the first year then when they racked rent up to $950 (we started at $900) over a year span we knew we had to go - we can afford mortgage on a NEW HOME for a few hundred more!
The walls were all cracked, and when maintenance fixed them, 2 weeks later they were cracked. You can hear your neighbors tv's, radio's and bathroom fan.
The stairwells echo like crazy, especially when the kids run up them. It's nearly impossible to get into the neighborhood in the afternoon while everyone blocks the intersection. The pool isn't big and the "flat screen tv" is almost always occupied.
Oh and they have parking tags but never monitor them - there was a few instances of cars "dumped" in the lot over time ...and they were there for weeks at a time! How is that declared as SAFE'
NOT WORTH IT - BUY A HOME OR GO TO BELLA SONOMA. THE BETTER PART OF TOWN!
