I lived here a couple years and couldnt be more disgusted with the whole experience. When we moved in the oven wasnt plugged in and we wondered why, turns out 2 of the burners didnt work and after several months while I was cooking I turned on a switch, heard a pop and watched smoke and flame shoot from the back! It made me wonder if they knew previously that there was an issue.
All the appliances are old and out-dated. Our dryer and dishwasher also broke down within a matter of months.
After their yearly inspections I came home from work a week later to a note left by maintenance that he had been in to fix a couple things. (light bulb and a pair of blinds that had gotten bent at the bottom)We had NO notice that anyone would be entering our apartment! It was a very unsettling feeling knowing that a stranger had been in my home. I would never allow that without my presence.
Manager was beyond unorganized. Very forgetful. We got late payment notices on more than one occasion because she had misplaced our payment or just failed to notify the secretary.
We had a new neighbor move in the last few months we lived there who constantly complained about noise and parties. We never had a complaint before this and had noisy neighbors below that we believe were the culprits. We work long hours and it was very rare we had any company. We certainly never had parties. We tried to prove it wasnt us but were told "she says its you so it must be". We came home about 12 times to notes on our door threatening us for violating our lease by the amount of noise coming from our apartment. The secretary even came in person following a complaint to warn us and admitted she didnt believe it was us but said her hands were tied.
There were other little incidents here and there and by the time we were able to move I was sick from the stress of it all. I wouldnt wish this treatment on anyone!
In th end we were stuck with an outrageous cleaning bill that went way over our deposit. I wish I had proof of the state of things when we'd moved in. I left it clean, top to bottom, unlike when we moved in. It wasnt filthy, I'll give it that, but it wasnt clean.
This place is a joke

This is laughs. Read between the lines. Lived there two years even though the place was awful? Recevied 12 notices, but it was never them, it was always someone else. Sounds like the apt community was better off without you.

It takes a decent amount of money to move into a new place and it takes time to save it up, hence the prolonged stay here. Plus its not a piece of cake to break a lease. The notices were only from the one neighbor who moved in during our final 6 months. She wouldnt talk to us personally and managment refused to help resolve the issue. So what can you do? Get out when you can
