Welcome to HELL.

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003
When I first moved here in July of 2002, I thought I was in for the opportunity of a lifetime. Chopaka was neat and clean, there were fresh flowers in the cabana, and the management team (Joyce and Kathy) were GREAT! They really seemed to care about my family's needs, and we were assured that this apartment complex was more than just a "complex"...it was a community! There were pot-luck dinners, family parties..
Then somewhere along the line, the owner and/or property management decided that "community" was not meant for the likes of us renters. Fast forward to December 2002/January 2003, please.
Joyce and Kathy were "let go," and there's some know-it-all bimbo in the manager's office, who shows up whenever she "feels like it." When she does show up, she's dressed to the nines with her breasts falling out--god forbid she bend over-not a damn thing is left to the imagination! I still wonder what possessed the person above Joyce. What drove him to get rid of a perfectly capable manager, and bring in this airhead' HAHA. and for that matter, does his wife know'
Anyway, all the flowers have disappeared, and people are moving out as fast as they can. Report problems all you want--good luck getting anything done. I called several times about a leak in my kitchen, but after about a week I gave up and called a friend to fix it. There is dog crap everywhere. Garbage everywhere. Bleh.
Save your money. Oh, I'm sure the NEW office manager will Woo you with her sweet little sashay/dance routine. But don't expect that to last once you move in!
Go rent somewhere where the folks are compassionate and actually give a rats ass about the residents.
