This goes out to all of you who complain about living here, it's very simple... LEAVE! All of ours lives here would be better if those of you who gossip and complain about people's dogs, kids, noise, parking, whatever it may be, would just move. Living in apartments has a lot of pros and cons, but that's the price we pay for living amongst all different walks of life. If you think you can find another apartment complex that will allow it's residents to have a garage sale and then have a nice b.b.q., or try to arrange activities for the residents so that we can all get to know each other, you are mistaken!
Some people have nothing better to do but sit around and gossip about other people, GET A LIFE! Chopaka is a GREAT place to live. You can't please eveyone, that's life. People, if you don't like apartment living, then go rent a house in the middle of no where.
I have never lived in a place where the management and maintenance people try their best to meet everyone's needs. However, Chopaka is the only place thus far that has showed me true caring and understanding. Sure, sometimes getting a problem fixed in my apartment might take a while, but when you only have 1 maintenance person, things can get a little backed up. Give the guy a break!
I'm sick of hearing people say things that't aren't true or accurate in these reviews. Since the new management has taken over, I think things have really improved at Chopaka.
I feel that for living in an apartment complex, Chopaka does a great job at trying to make it feel like a small community where everyone knows everyone and people truly care about their neighbors. If you don't try and take part of this, then you don't know. Therefore, you have no right to make a judgement.
I would rather live among people who appreciate where we live, so please, do us all a favor, if you don't like it, leave. No one is asking you to stay. There is too much negativity in this world already!!!
