Very nice place to live

IVA is a lovely complex. Relatively small (six buildings, 32 units, I think) and cozy. Very friendly and family-oriented. We didn't have kids, but made friends with everyone and their families.
They gladly allowed our cats, and many other residents had cats. The area is quiet, but very convenient to shopping of all kinds (grocery within walking distance, and the great Gilman Village a couple blocks away), and a whole host of great restaurants.
I digress. The apartment is nicely laid out and spacious (about 1200 square feet). Washer and dryer inside each unit, so no laundry room or coin machines to bother with. Lovely balconies/patios in each unit, and I believe most had a fireplace. Half of the units are up one flight of outdoor stairs, which was fine although challenging to move large furniture into (but possible... we got a 54" TV, a king-size bed, and a piano in!
There is a small courtyard formed by four of the buildings, with a nice green area, a path (including a couple small footbridges), and a play area. We even had a partial view of Cascades foothills from our balcony!
The only reason we moved out is because we had to relocate cross country. I fell in love with Issaquah Village Apartments, driving past it nearly every day for about five months until a unit became available.
The manager at the time was super. She left shortly before we moved. We met the new managers (a young couple), but didn't really get the chance to know them. They seemed nice, and our move-out went smoothly.
