When my fiance and I found Lakemont online we were happy at the price and location. When we showed up for a tour the listing price was non-existent.

We still liked what we saw (location is great!!), so decided to get on a list. After two weeks and no call, we showed up only to have the manager tell us he just rented out the 1 bedroom. After having this happen twice, we finally got a place and made them give it to us at the online listed price.

Almost every time we meet Management, they are smiles, but we have complained about the neighbors being to loud, mold in the windows, fans not working, light fixtures that don't work without any results.

I love the location and the grounds are farelly nice, but am I tired of arising issues that get delt with by the manager saying he will take care of it and nothing happening.

Covered parking here is $75 a month, other places have it for $25. Small parking spaces equal great door dings.

Mold in windows cleans with Pinesol or Softscrub bleach, but not so much with Windex. In any case, it will be back in a month.

Pressure washers are skilled at washing the dirt onto your doormat.

There is a smoking, stay up late and be loud down by the pool, VW golf and rabbit club here. They gather from 10pm to 2am every day during the summer.

There is a scam that your twelve month lease with one month free, suddenly becomes an 11 month lease with no free month.
