Lived here for 18 months. Was told the power bill would be about $50 during the winter months. It averaged out about $115 a month and I'm out of town one week per month. Had a management company change and all the trouble started. They tried to raise my rent $160 at the end of my 6 month lease. They expect you to pay for parking now. You can opt out of the parking fee, you just can't park in the assigned spot for your apartment. You have to fight it out for the few visitor spaces. No one except Langara charges for parking in Issaquah. The lawns are so over watered there are giant ruts the mower guys make each week. You can't even walk across most of it. I especially have enjoyed the 4:45 AM aerobics tape the upstairs girls ran every morning. It would transfer so much vibration through the ceiling the pictures on the walls would shake. Every thump on the upstairs floor, every drawer or cabinet closed can be heard through the ceiling.
Make sure you get everything in writing. They have a pattern of saying something is OK and then changing their minds a few months later. When you move out get the move out check list signed in front of you. They have this interesting habit of "finding things" after they tell you every thing looks great.
I have rented for many years in the seattle area. I think for what you pay verses what you get there are so many better choices. Langara is charging the highest rates in Issaquah and they don't have any amenities like pool or workout facilities.
If you do rent here, good luck and you've been warned.

So glad I took pictures when I moved. I'm expecting some "hidden" costs..... Thanks for the advice.
