The Inconvenient Truth

Apparently this apartment complex feels that they can charge full rent during renovation.
They have people coming in at 8:00 in the morning till 5:00 at night dirtying up the apartment, and not covering anything from dust. So basically I can only use the apartment at night. To top it off, I do not have any control to who is renovating my apartment. Most of the workers do not speak English so I can only assume that they crossed the border illegally.

I am tired of this shabby apartment and I will be moving out as soon as my lease is up.

First of all... You don't own the apartment so you don't have a say in who renovates it. Second... For being a bigot I hope the renovation takes longer than expected.

Yes we lived there and ----- is the worst manager ever! She does not pay attention to detail and thinks that by ripping off the tenants she is a good person...yes as a renter you do have rights and they do have to give you notice of who is coming in and out of your place! They don't care if stuff gets ruined during the renovation because ----- just tacks it onto your final months rent saying damage done and you are stuck paying it or get sent off to collections...she should take a class in ethics and wear some clothes that cover her body...nice that she is proud of her girls but to flaunt them at work...not so pretty.

THE TRUTH HURTS...MANAGEMENT CAN'T HANDLE TAKING A BLOW!!!!! This is in reference to the above comment.

We all know that this office takes things a little to personally...that is just showing exactly what these people are commenting about how they handle certain situations. It is hard to overcome a bad reputation and unfortunately the only nice person in the office (-------) is having to deal with all this stuff that ----- has done over the years and now that ----- is going to be manager I see this community really going down hill. They should have demoted ----- and promoted ------- in my opinion. It really is a beautiful community and could be so much more if some of the staff would be more like ------- then I could see it going far but as of right now I don't see much positive about them!

I work night shift and I have a lot to say! I asked the management to have the people come in from 5 PM to 8 AM, but they wouldn't do that. They said something about people needing their sleep or something like that. Look, it's all about ME, OK? If I can't enjoy my off time because of a silly thing like bringing the plumbing up to code, cleaning and repainting the decks, or repainting the parking lot, then why should I even pay them? I mean, they did give a few months of notice and were probably required to do that by city statute???but so what? I WAS INCONVENIENCED. This isn???t the Wild West, people. I???m not on a Conestoga wagon, nor am I holding 10 lbs of flour and beans. What they should have done is to have consulted with me, gotten my approval and performed all these "improvements" on the day after I moved out. Or, they could???ve gotten me a new place to live ??? say Salish Lodge ??? for the duration. That would???ve been nice of them. How dare they expect me to be appreciative of them beautifying and rectifying? That???s just absurd! Absurd???..yes???..That's really bottom line, people. Say it with me. Come on. Feels good. Say..."They did the best they could do." Woops! I mean, ???They secretly hate me and want to destroy my soul.???
