For all the time I lived here, through all the management changes (and there have been many), it has depended on who you talk to as to whether anything gets accomplished. After the earthquake several years ago, mgmt was very concerned and went and checked on neighbors. I will say though that I lived in apartments since I was a kid and for apartments which are only 6 years old, the workmanship is pretty shoddy (not mgmt's doing though). I have not heard of any problems with vandalism. I don't experience the noise from the lumberyard, but do get the trash removal on Sundays and the obnoxious trimming and grass blowing noise. And the landscaping crew doesn't even wear noise headphones. There is noise from the hot tub and parties after hours which I wish mgmt would control better. And the gates are purely decorative. Storage in the apartments is neglible. I haven't experienced any problems with the fireplace as others report other than having to relight it every time a wind storm comes through. On the whole, it's better than most and not as good as it good be without raising rents.
