Although Summerwalk offers spacious apartments and has a decent maintenance staff, there are many important issues you should consider. The office staff is very often impersonal and non-responsive when you leave messages. Parking is a joke. Do not rent an apartment on the west side of the street unless you only have one car or plan to rent a garage which is an extra $100. On most days, I literally walk 200 yards from where I park. If there is a party in the club house, you are forced to park illegally until the party is over. If you want a quiet place to live, DO NOT RENT here. Noisy water pipes are a true nuisance. Dozens of kids, numerous barking dogs, and a maintenance cart that is louder than a diesel truck, whizzing by, even at 7:30 am on a Sunday! The building may look nice on the outside but the construction of the building is quite sad. We have also experienced vehicular vandalism and burglary! Good luck in your apartment hunting. We recommend that you skip this place.
