This place was the worst apartment I have ever lived in. We were paying out the nose for a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment that was pretty much the basement level. You could hear your neighbors tv, snoring, phone ringing, kid screaming, stomping, water running, toilet flushing, among other things. When they would flush their toilet it sounded like niagra falls was in my living room. I swear the neighbors above us enjoyed torturing us. It sounded like a herd of elephants were living upstairs. Their child was up usually till 3 in the morning running back and forth through the apartment. We were woke up several times during the night and management did NOTHING about it. I complained 5 times to management and went up and spoke to the neighbors 3 times. NOTHING was ever done. The parking is ATROCIOUS!! When we moved in they told us we would get 2 parking spots..WRONG... We got one parking spot in which everyone else decided they would like to park in. Every time we would come home there would be someone elses car in our spot. I went to management one time because I had a car full of groceries and someone was in my spot and they told me well you're just going to have to park on the street. I was not happy. Not to mention my parking spot was a block away from my apartment. We were told when we moved in that if we had guests all we had to do was call management and they would let us know what spots are open and our guest could park there... WRONG AGAIN!! Everytime I would call they would say "Oh, well nothing is available" when you know full well that there are plenty of apartments not being rented out at the moment. Oh and if you want to move out you have to give your notice 20 days before the end of the month. We were on month to month for a month (which is $150 more than what you are regularly paying) and I went in to managment and spoke to the manager and asked so what kind of notice do I have to give in order to move out. She told me washington state law says you have to give 20 days notice. So I gave 20 days notice. Well thats not the way they do it. They wanted 20 days before the end of the month. To this day I still do not understand why they couldnt SAY THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! They were not going to bend and let us move out when we gave our notice but I piched the biggest fit until they finally gave in. The management is very rude and inconsiderate. I was 9 months pregnant and had 3 packages delivered to the office and everyone watched as I came in carried a box out came back in and carried a box out and back in and carried a box out. Not one man or woman lifted a finger to help, they just sat and watched me do it. I would NEVER NEVER NEVER live in this place even if someone paid me to!!! RENTERS BEWARE they will say anything to you in the begining to get you to sign the lease they dont care if they lie to your face or not!!

IN RESPONSE TO THE IDIOT BELOW:
Well first off I'm just letting people know what they can hear in their nice little $1400 apartment, whether they are on the basement level, middle level or upper level. You can hear EVERYTHING. And I mean EVERYTHING. If I can hear the man snoring upstairs imagine what else I can hear. That is how "sound proof" these apartments are. Also the running and stomping till 3 in the morning while I complain to the management proves that THEY DON'T GIVE A DAMN!! So if you have a problem with your neighbor, don't plan on management doing a damn thing to lift their little finger. Before we signed the lease we asked "where is our parking spot" and the lady said "oh it's right over there". Which was a reasonable distance from our apartment. Well after we signed the lease it wasn't "right over there" It was a block away from our apartment. This proves management will lie to you to get you to sign your lease. With a brand new baby on the way $120 is a lot of money for a garage. And all of the garages by our unit were taken up. Believe me I thought about getting one. But I could walk a block to my parking spot or I could walk a block to my $120 garage. Go figure. And as far as the termination notice. I assume that the management knows how to do their job. When I come in to get it straight "exactly how do I terminate my lease" I expect them to tell me exactly how I terminate my lease. And I expect that if they work there that they know a little bit about their jobs and are not just walking around with their thumb up their butts all day long. But apparently I was wrong about that. As far as seeing a lawyer. What the hell is that going to do, but cost me a lot of time, money, stress and for what' My post was just to warn renters of what type of place Summerwalk was, crappy apartment and not worth the money, crappy management who doesn't give a damn, and crappy parking! Overall this place is well, CRAP!! I don't appreciate your judgment of me as a person because of my experience and warning to others. You can take your condescending attitude and your review on my page and everyone elses and shove it.

Its their fault you didn't get an upstairs apartment? Americans are dirty, rude SOBs and run around in their shoes in-doors. They are like animals, so you have to consider that. Also, if parking was a -----, why didn't you get a garage? Isn't $120 a small price to pay for such frustration? And why couldn't you get it straight about the termination notice? You just assume everything? You sound very American...why didn't you make note of all the noise and your responses and see a lawyer? Let me guess...low IQ. No, Im not with Summerwalk. I think their office staff are a bunch of incompetent ------- that only know if they are, or are not, involved in a sex act. Rather, Im just an apartment shopper sick and tired of endless whinings of people that Im sure would drown themselves if they drank from a big enough cup of water.

ur clueless yama. U pay 120 for guess what? People parking in front of your garage, blocking you in. Thats summerwalk, more like a trailer park than an apartment as far as the people around here go. How u supposed to know ahead of time? And that maintenance wont do squat about it? And that the towing company will only tow if management is around to tell them to...did u check that, yama? Ur blocked in, no matter wtf you do here. So tell me what u would do, else stfu.
