I took the time prior to read these but did not listen. I fell for the exterior and the area. The first thing after moving from another state is they gave us the wrong size unit. At the time did not have the right size units available so we were stuck living in a 2 bedroom for a month. I dealt with that and did not complain. When we did move into our unit we realized it was poorly insulated. While living in our 3 bedroom I paid more for electricity a month than we had living in Phoenix in the summer in a 3500 sq foot home. That is a lot of money but when your trying to heat up your space and the cold air from out side blows through the windows its useless. Although they are updating the outside that is not changing the insulation or the windows leaking air. I spoke to PSE and they said they have people call to complain about there bills all the time from Summerwalk. If you do choose to live there please make sure you do the final walk through with them. I recieved a bill after moving out for 2850 to replace carpets from pet damage. I have rented most of my adult life and have never recieved this type of charge. I have two well house trained pets who wait by the door when they have to go and had someone to walk them 24 hrs 7 days a week. Since I did not do the walk through they had me! Please steer away from these townhomes!!!

Having worked in estate management, i can vouch for the fac that the management is responsible for making sure the apartment is in the same condition after you move out as it was before you moved in. The management would never replace a carpet if they didnt have to. By replacing carpet, they end up eating part of the cost for crediting you the time you lived on the carpet and also any years before that. It would always benefit them to simply clean the carpet, becuase they can legally charge you for 100% of that cost. If they had to replace it, it would only be because of significant damages.

Hmmm...I am guessing you work for them. I have rented my entire life and have never paid to replace carpet in my life. I have always received my entire deposits back at move out. Every place I have rented from have been more than willing to write even reference letters on how well we kept the house or apartment. The way the economy is and since they have lots of open apartments they are using new carpet as a selling feature at my expense!
